Juliusz Slowacki Theatre Running continuously since 1893. One of the most famous and most distinguished Polish scenes. Edifice, built by John Zawiejski, is counted among the most precious monuments of theater architecture in Europe. On the front of the inscription: "Krakow national art" Interiors are decorated with frescoes by the Viennese artist Anton Tuch and the famous curtain of Henryk Siemiradzki. Next stage is a great actor antique wardrobe Ludwik Solski. Juliusz Słowac Theatre invariably occupies a unique place in the culture of Krakow. At several stages performances suggests an important, valuable, live commenting present, but also in a creative way to refer to the Polish and European tradition. |
